Ariadna Naveira and Fernando Sanchez
Ariadna started dancing at a very young age.
Daughter of world famous tango masters Gustavo Naveira and Olga Besio, she danced her first steps with her brother, Federico Naveira, whom she partnered for 15 years.
She obtained her Master of Dance degree at the Escuela Nacional de Danzas in , and has performed at numerous prestigious locations in Buenos Aires such as Salon Canning, Parakultural, La Viruta, La Confitería Ideal, Teatro Broadway … and many more.
She danced in the much acclaimed show “el ballet de Olga Besio” and has taught with her mother in various courses.
She has performed in films such as “Tango, no me dejes nunca” by Carlos Saura, and many other short films. Among the places she has taught are Tango Brujo with Federico, el Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA) and “El Pulpo’s Tango Week”, all in Buenos Aires, and in various international festivals such as “Tangomania” in Amsterdam.
After performing a number of shows with different partners, Lucas Molina became her next regular partner and they taught and performed together in Moscow, St Petersburg, Riga, Basel, Venice and many other European cities.
Today she teaches with Greta Hekier en club Belgrano (better known as Cochabamba) in Buenos Aires.
Fernando started tango in His first partner was Nayla Vacca.
His teacher at that time, Alfredo Maldonado, gave him the opportunity to perform his first major show at the prestigious el Casona del Teatro on calle Corrientes in Buenos Aires.
Since then he has taught and performed at numerous milongas in Buenos Aires such as La Ideal, Salon Canning, Parakultural, Porteno y Bailarin and many more. He has taught and performed in England, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Germany, Brazil. Fernando and Nayla went their separate ways in
Ariadna and Fernando, as well as being a couple in life, are embarking on an exciting new experience together in dance, aiming to bring to tango a fresh but traditional approach to keep the dance alive and flourishing throughout the world.
